Georgian Bay Soapworks started over 30 years ago in Meaford Ontario, on the shores of Georgian Bay.  We are now located deep in the woods on the beautiful Bruce Peninsula, still a stones throw away from Georgian Bay.

With the hard work and support of my husband and 3 sons, Georgian Bay Soapworks has grown into a successful business.

We live and work in an off-grid environment powered by the sun. You can now feel good about buying products that are made with care and concern for our planet.

We are as concerned as you are with the state of the rain forest and over our 30 years in business have sourced Palm Oil that comes from an approved supplier of palm oil products and who are members of the RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) so rest assured we have done our homework.  The WWF supports and encourages the use of palm oil produced using responsible and sustainable practices. 

With nature all around us, it is our inspiration.

The extra specials that go into our soaps are either grown here on our property or hand picked from Mother Natures Garden.  

Our soaps are made from scratch using the cold process method.  We use only high quality, sustainably grown vegetable oils and our soaps are cured for 4-6 weeks before they are packaged in boxes made from recycled material that are backyard compostable.

Our deodorant and other body products are also packaged in paper, backyard compostable tubes.

All products are Health Canada Approved.

We make everything in small batches to ensure a quality product every time and test our products on our wonderful family and friends before we sell them to you.

Our goal is to produce eco-friendly products that are safe for us, our earth and our waterways.  We believe we have achieved that and we hope you will enjoy our products.

We strive to make as small a footprint on the earth as is possible.

You can now shop for our products on-line as well as finding us at local Farmer's Markets on the Bruce Peninsula or at many fine stores throughout Grey, Bruce & Simcoe Counties.  

Our store is open 7 days a week for curb side pickup.
